Founded in 1990 by Michael Schmidt, Hanse is the leading shipyard in the construction of sailing boats in Germany. It is part of the HanseGroup, along with Deheler, Moody and Privilège (catamaran specialists), Fjord and Sealine (who manufacture motor boats). Taking care of the design of their boats, they have the designers Patrick Banfield, Bill Dixon and Judel/Vrolijk & Co. Hanse is known for its high standards of engineering, innovation, quality construction and attention to detail, all with a perfect "Made in Germany" style. The Hanse fleet, which includes a wide range of boats ranging from 31 to 69 feet in length and which stand out for their speed, ease when manoeuvring and robustness and not forgetting their flexibility in movement. Beyond these characteristics, what makes the Hanse boats unique is the possibility of personalising the models with an infinite number of options for all tastes and needs: design, material, wood, fabrics, the colour of the hull, materials for the sails, combination of the bow and stern, state-of-the-art entertainment systems, personalised storage space etc.
