Observations

The marina at Oropesa del Mar is an attractive and well-planned facility set apart (1 km) from the busy resort town of the same name. Puerto Oropesa is well protected by a very high outer wall, and the interior of the port is calm and sheltered. There are 6,500m2 of hardstanding in Oropesa and 4 work shops and a commercial centre have recently been built. The clubhouse has a tapas bar, lounges, and a rooftop swimming pool. The historic town centre, known as the City of Antique Dealers, is an ideal place to take a walk at sundown, and a visit to the Playing Cards Museum should not be missed.
