The Dufour "Classic" range was introduced in 1995/96. All were designed by J. & J. Designs, and were intended as comfortable cruisers with good sailing performance. The 32 is the second smallest of the range. Sweet Jane is a fin keel version with tiller steering. She provides a good level of accommodation for 6 people in 2 cabins plus saloon berths.

Fitted with a slightly taller than basic masthead rig with alloy pair spreader mast and spars the stainless rigging was replaced in 2003.
The vessel has a battened mainsail with lazy jack bag for ease of reefing and sail stowage. Roller reefing genoa with Furlex 200s furling unit. All lines are led aft to the cockpit for ease of sail management.

Tiller direction with teak cut cockpit chairs and handrails. Moulded nonslip decks and pair guard rails connect the stainless steel push-pit and pull-pit provide security while moving around the comfortably wide side decks.
The 32 Classic provides a good level of seating for 6 people in 2 cabins plus bar docks. The cockpit is covered by a full enclosure which extends the spacious use of the vessel throughout the year.
Removing the companionway steps gives access to the engine room. In the main bar, to seaport is an L shaped galley with gasoline oven, hob and grill, a diameter of stowage, stainless steel sink with pressurised hot and chilly water.
Behind the galley is access to the generous aft cabin with double dock and stowage cupboard. there is additional access to the engine from within the cabin. To seaport is the blueprint desk, direction and electrical panel, heater controls and bluetooth player. Behind is access to the quantity. The toilet has a holding basin for lake usage. There is a shower and hand basin with stowage under.
The main bar has two large and spacious settee / single docks either side of the folding central desk. The bar feels inviting and beam due to the mix of white mouldings and warm coloured wood finish and 6'2'' headroom. An Eberspacher heating system keeps things cosy when the weather turns.
The fore-cabin provides the final 2 good sized docks and more stowage. A hatch overhead provides beam and ventilation.
