Built in 1984, it is understood the hull was originally moulded by Colvic and fitted out by two ex Broom staff who formed a company in the late 1980's called Cheeseman Rolo. Powered by a single Ford 100hp diesel engine on shaft drive. She will cruise at circa 7.5 kts and a max speed of circa 8.5kts, a very economical cruiser.
"Merlin" features 2 good sized double sleeping cabins, raised saloon with panoramic views, lower galley and dinette area which converts to a double berth, en suite heads and shower to master aft cabin.
"Merlin" has very recently returned to the UK from Holland, she has been in the same ownership for 26 years, although an older boat, she is very well maintained, engine recently serviced, and the boat is ready to go. She has previously been registered on the Boat Safety Scheme. She has been used on inland water ways in recent years, but is a capable offshore boat too. Viewing is recommended.
