This well presented, well maintained Seamaster 925 designed by Holman & Pye, has been in her present ownership since 2005. Fitted with a new Beta 16 inboard diesel engine in May 2010. A substantial amount of equipment has been replaced and/or upgraded including standing rigging, anchor windlass, sails and new navigation.  There is a 2014 survey available to seriously interested parties.

1)    Brief history of major works:
Designed by Holman & Pye. Hull no. 5841, manufactured 1979 at Seamaster Limited, Great Dunmow, Essex. The first proprietor is believed to have kept the vessel on the Clyde.
August 2005 – purchased by the present proprietor at Loch Melfort, Argyll.
May 2010 – engine replaced with fresh Beta 16 professionally installed at Ardfern Yacht Centre: gasoline basin also cleaned, repaired and re-painted. New lower (inner) shrouds tailored. New genoa by Leitch of Tarbert, Argyll.
June 2010 – fresh babystay (inner forestay) tailored in Orkney.
April 2011 – fresh Gebo forehatch tailored. New Furlex genoa-furling gear tailored. New Jabsco quantity tailored. Main windows (which had been leaking) re-manufactured with fresh seals.
May 2012 – fresh ICom M411 VHF set tailored (DSC, GMDSS).
May 2013 - fresh main shrouds and backstay tailored. Forecompartment windows re-manufactured with fresh seals.
November 2014 – insurance survey by James McIlwraith of Survey One. Available for review.
March-May 2015 – 2 out of 6 keel bolts tested for tightness and recapped. New guard-rail wires tailored. Fire extinguishers all checked, two refilled, and engine compartment extinguisher replaced with a fresh one (with glass bulb auto-release). New Hyde mainsail. Anchor chain re-galvanised.
March-May 2016 – 4 remaining keel-bolts tested for tightness and recapped. Lower body sand-blasted by Marine Blast and then professionally epoxied by J. Miller Marine Maintenance, Helensburgh. Simpson-Lawrence electric mainstay windlass completely remanufactured by SL Spares, Paisley.
April-May 2017 – fresh rudder bearings tailored,
