The Fairey Huntsman 28 was the pathfinder in fast offshore twin-screw diesel power-boating and is often seen as the yachtsman's choice. This Fairey Huntsman 28 is one of the best-presented classic Fairey powerboats to come to the market during the last decade. Originally built in 1967 "Midnight Blue" has been totally refitted to the highest of standards during the last fifteen years of current ownership. If an as new 'Classic' is what you're after this is a must to view. Hull Refurbishment completed in 2011

The Huntsman is one of the greatest motor cruisers of all time, "Midnight Blue " is hull number 94. Designed originally by Ray Hunt and modified by Alan V. Burnard of Fairey Marine in Hamble, the Fairey Huntsman 28 is renowned for very superior handling characteristics and seakeeping. During the late 1960s and 1970s they raced highly successfully offshore and gained many trophies. If a refurbished 'Classic' and part of the nation's heritage is what you're after this is a must to view. ‘Midnight Blue’ really is a credit to her owner who has been meticulous in her refurbishment and continued maintenance which include, most recently: Winter 2022/23 maintenance on Midnight Blue including replacement batteries, rubbing strakes taken to bare wood and re-varnished. The transom lettering will be redone (in gold leaf). Her cabin bilges have been repainted along with antifoul, anodes, general repairs, and engines servicing. 2021 insurance survey is available on request, a purchaser cannot place reliance on it however it is a good indicator of condition and surveyors' thoughts on value. Construction

A Deep-V body of 7 x 1/8” laminations of Agba mahogany veneers laid diagonally over a buck and laminated with glue then hot moulded for optimal strength. Spray rails under the body to reduce spray and add lift. Hull is strengthened with stringers
