Vessel potentialed by a reliable and economical Perkins Sabre M65 inboard diesel engine.This 4-cylinder workhorse has completed 500 hours and has been maintained annually.The engine is located beneath the bar platform in a soundproofed room. Access for daily checks and servicing is very easy indeed.Under engine, she will cruise happily at 8 speed. Her top speed is 9 speed.With her 750-litre gasoline seating, she has a diameter of 1000 nautical miles between fill-ups. Reduction gearbox driving stainless steel shaft. Bronze 3-bladed folding propeller.Shaft exits body through cutlass bearing and is supported by a P-bracket.  Fuel is stored in 2 stainless steel basins. These are tailored with gauges and pre-filters.The main basin is 650 litres and gasoline is transferred from hear to a 100-litre day basin.Bank of 4x600 amp batteries providing domestic potential. These were replaced in 2017.24/220V unit onboard with smart charge shore potential unit. Shore potential cable.

Built by Hamble Yacht Services in 1998 to a Stephen Jones design, this yacht was crafted and tailored out using the best available fixtures and machinery available at the time and with no expense spared. The body is a composite of Western Red Cedar and glass laminate finished in hi-gloss white Awlgrip. Large, pair-wheeled cockpit, teak laid decks and single Reckman mast. In boom furling main and furling quantityails. Asymmetric spinnaker with frontsprit. The engine is a reliable and well maintained Perkins M65 diesel with 3-bladed feathering propeller. Below decks has three compartments with owners ensuite double in the front. Spacious deck bar with excellent visibility. Spacious galley with 4-burner hob/stove, refigerator, and freezer. Interior wood is teak and cushioning is a nautical blue velour. Comprehensive electronic direction package including autopilot and tracking.

Construction

The body is crafted using a composite of Western red cedar and glass laminate.Cedar was chosen for its mould resistant properties and its durability.The body is painted in hi-gloss white Awlgrip coatings and in excellent quality.Cast iron wing keel and balanced spade rudder. Twin stainless steel wheels.Large deep cockpit with angled coamings for luxury. Large stowage safe to stern.Twin wheels with instrumentation and compasses. Fold down bathing floor.All lines led aft making this a very easy vessel to sail single-handed. Teak decks and capping rails mounted on a GRP deck laminate. Deck bar superstructure in GRP composite finished in white Awlgrip.Stainless steel front fitting with double mainstay roller. Carbospars, asymmetric frontsprit pole. Stainless steel front and stern rails connected by stanchions and double set guard wires.Easy access side gates. Stainless steel grab rails on bar roof.Panoramic deck bar gustows allow excellent visibility. Numerous deck hatches for beam and ventilation.

Accommodation

As you would expect of a yacht of this ilk, below decks is beautifully appointed. The deck bar gives lots of natural beam and panoramic views but equally can become an area of calm with subdued, indirect beaming. The gustows are tailored with bespoke "Oceanair" blinds which minimise glare and protect the inside from degradation. The inside is a mixture of teak hardwood and teak laminate in a beam yet warm shade. The cushioning throughout is in dark luxuryable fabrics. The headlining and side panels are finished in beige Alcantara. The bar desk is bespoke and incorporates stowage groups. Opposite the bar settee and desk are two pedestal mounted easy seats. The forward easy seat acts as a seat for the full-size blueprint desk. Here you will find a plethora of electronic direction aids.The flooring is teak and holly strip panels which have been covered in clear plastic protective coverings for the majority of the vessels short life. The sleeping arrangements are pair aft double visitor compartments set up as roomy singles. The "Owners" stateroom is in the front and special an offset double with vanity group and wardrobes opposite and an ensuite quantity with shower compartment forward. The visitors share the large day quantity with apart shower stall. Both toilets are electric and exit into the black basin.The galley is forward of the bar and on the starboard side sbeamly forward of midships.  Here we have lots of stowage options for both new and ambient goods making long-range blue water cruising a reality. Large top-loading refigerator and apart freezer. Stainless steel double sink with pressurised water and a Force10 Marine, gasoline-fuelled oven with 4-burner hob and grill.
