Vessel is potentialed by a Yanmar 3YM20, 21hp inboard diesel. This 3-cylinder group is situated beneath the companionway steps in a sound proofed room. Engine start panel in cockpit with binnacle mounted throttle. Engine serviced in 2018. Reduction gearbox driving stainless steel shaft and 2-bladed propeller and rope cutter. Bank of 3X12V batteries tailored with isolators. These provide engine start and domestic potential. Batteries recharged via engine alternator or onboard charger charger. Shore potential cable.

Below decks is well appointed with classic cherry stained Maobi inside woodwork and "Pacific Blue" cushioning. The inside is in excellent quality and benifits from fresh carpets in bar and diesel fired heating. The yacht has provision for 7 docks. Double compartments forward and aft, singles either side of desk with the seaport dock converting to a double if required. The bar is entered from the companionway via a perspex sliding hatch and set of varnished wash boards. To seaport is the "owners" aft compartment with 1.83M frontroom, double dock, hanging wardrobe, 12V deck and reading illumination and opening seaports for ventilation. Continuing on the seaport side is the L-shaped galley with gasoline fuelled ENO oven with 2-burner hob. Top loading, 60L chairing refigerator with drain for cleaning. Stainless steel sink with hot & chilly mixer tap. Cupboard stowage above and below work tops. Perspex splash guard added at galley. Forward of galley is the bar. Sail

Bermudan sloop with 9/10th fractional rig. Deck stepped aluminium mast and boom. Single set of aft swept spreaders and stainless steel standing rigging. At time of build the first owners specified upgraded winches and spinnaker rigging. Terylene running rigging led aft to cockpit for short handed sailing. Sails were upgraded in 2018. Hyde fully battened main and roller furling genoa with UV strip. Single line reefing for main. The fresh Elvstom sails are available as a spare set. Boom mounted stack pack with lazy jack lines. Main sheet track forward of sprayhood.

Overview

The Beneteau Oceanis 323 was introduced in 2003 as a replacement for what had been the extremely popular Oceanis 311. The improvements made were an increase in overall interior volume, a larger aft compartment, an enormous front compartment and a generous, easily accessible cockpit with a clever pivoting wheel. The 323 proved to be yet another winner from the Groupe Finot stable, and this model remains just as popular today. This is a particularly attractive model with a good index. She is ready to go with recent antifoul coatings, engine assistance and NEW Hyde Sails. It is a delight to announce that there is nothing on this yacht that doesn't function. You can quite happily take this vessel to sea tomorrow locker in the knowledge that everything works as it should. Other attractive special are the complete cockpit enclosure, additional coachroof halyard winch,New LED lighting throughout, double dock conversion in the bar, diesel fired compartment heating and holding basin with macerator. Vessel was ashore for antifoul removal and gelshield application April/May 2019.

Construction

GRP manufactured yacht built by Beneteau in 2005 to a Group Finot design. White, hi-gloss topsides with smart navy blue and silver body decals. Standard gust cast iron keel measuring 1.80M. Semi balanced spade rudder. Underwater areas have been soda blasted and epoxy coated using Gelshield in April/May 2019. Binnacle mounted, leather trimmed wheel direction. Wheel pivots to allow easy access from transom. Teak laid bathing/boarding floor with pivoting helm chair. Teak topped locker chairing with cavernous sail/storage locker to starboard. Yacht benefits from a full cockpit enclosure. This keeps the cockpit dry and free from grime. Stainless steel front and rear rails connected by stanchions and double set of guard wires. The guard wires are recent, uncoated and have removable rear sections to allow easy boarding in seaport. Nice wide side decks finished in moulded non slip for lockerty. Self bailing mainstay locker with Leroy Somer horizontal electric windlass with both rope and chain gypsies. Mooring cleats situated forward, aft and at mid-ships. Opening seaports and deck hatches in coachroof.
