Accommodation

The inside is tailored out with solid teak joinery and deals four berths in two cabins.  Headroom is approximately 6ft and there is excellent storage throughout the vessel.  In the forecabin there is a V-berth with infill and storage underneath. Opening hatch to deck. Full width quantity room with marina toilet and washbasin. Cold pressurised water unit and a 227L freshwater basin seating. In the bar there are two settee berths and a blueprint desk to seaport. The galley opposite has a single stainless-steel sink and a three-burner gasoline hob and a coolbox. Upholstered in red fabric.

Mechanical System

Powered by a Beta 14 19HP diesel engine, with low engine hours. 2-cylinder, shaft navigate to a fixed, 3-blade propellor. This engine special indirect cooling and a 45L fuel seating in a stainless-steel basin. This yacht has a cruising velocity of 5kn and a max velocity of 6kn. The engine was last serviced in 2021.

Electrical Systems

2 x 12v batteries, 1 x domestic at 110Amp hour (new 2021) and 1 x engine start at 90Amp hour (new 2021). This yacht has a charger management unit.

History & Construction

The Twister 28 was manufactured by Tyler Boat Co. Ltd C.1968 and crafted by Kim Holman. The deck and body are of fiberglass development. Last antifouled and anodes replaced in 2021 when the vessel was last ashore. This yacht has had preventative osmosis treatment, undertook by Swale Marina. This yacht has been under its current ownership for 2 years and the reason for selling this yacht, is because they have purchased larger another yacht.
