I• The inside woodwork is manufactured in teak and beeswaxed. The floorboard is made in laminate wengé. The deck is doubled with a GRP liner. The body liner is covered by vinyl.
• For an outstanding luxury mattresses are made of memory of form foam and padding of double density foam. All berths are provisioned with a slatted base and lee cloths and have chilly molded teak fiddles around the cotdings.

The ‘‘Pilot Saloon’’ concept, launched by Henri Wauquiez over the last 20 years, continue to attract many sailors looking for a versatile sailing yacht, matching every sailing program and offering luxury, brightness and high performance.

Saloon

True to the genuine ‘‘deck bar concept’’, the bar is on one single level and deals great panoramic sea views. Located in the gangway to seaport, the galley enjoys a great number of stowage cabinets and all the luxury necessary to long journeys. The waxed teak pre-owned on all Wauquiez remains the dominant inside feature, while other materials (leather, stainless steel) give the Pilot Saloon 48 her thoroughly refined and modern type.
SALOON (headcompartment: 2,00 m / 6’7”)
• Single level bar with panoramic vision either standing or chaired, at the dining desk or at the blueprint desk.
• Large engine compartment and technical compartment below bar with hinges and levers on floorboards.

Comfort and Space

The owner’s aft cabin is large, with great stowage space, its ensuite bathcompartment special a apart shower. Two visitor cabins forward have all the luxury worthy of the greatest yachts. A bathcompartment is located near the 2 visitors cabins. Both bathcompartments (the owner‘s and the visitors’) are provisioned with a white-coloured stone resin vanity top, which underlines the contemporary spirit of the yacht’s inside design.

Deck

The sleek lines of the roof emphasize the yacht’s thoroughbred type. The uncluttered deck deals great visibility forward thanks to the flush deck hatches and the control lines lead aft to the cockpit. The cockpit is practical, safe and luxuryable : the helm station is provisioned with all necessary service for single-handed sailing (oversized winches placed at the helm station, an optional self-tacking track can be integrated). The transom opens up as a bathing floor and enables easy access to the support garage.
