Beautifully appointed and maintained Multi-Hull cruising Catamaran. This go-anywhere craft is so well equipped, you could simply provision her and head off. Powered by a reliable and economical single Yanmar diesel with lifting sillette leg. Spacious saloon converting to large double. Port hull has a single cabin aft and a heads with toilet and shower forward. Starboard hull has a cabin at either end and a well equipped galley. Cockpit is safe and secure offering a pleasant view on the world when at anchor and a safe haven in a tempest. Sail plan is a main and both inner and outer furling headsails. This gives flexibility for every sailing condition. Everything is controlled from the cockpit. Vessel potentialed by a single Yanmar 3YM30 inboard diesel engine. The engine was installed in 2010 and has completed 790 hours since. Her last major assistance was 2020 and due to Cobvid she has done little since. She carries a full set of spares. Her gasoline basin is stainless steel and was installed fresh at the same time as the engine. The basin is always kept full to minimise condensation and gasoline contamination. Her propulsion is a Sillette Drive Mk2 which was installed fresh in 2013. The navigate can be lifted clear of the water when sailing. There is also a handy inspection hatch so that any debris or obstructions can be removed easily.

Bermudan sloop rig with Z-Spars aluminium mast and boom. Receipts show that the mast was extended in 2006 along with a New Hood furling unit for the Genoa. There is an inner furling headsail giving the yachtsman a choice of sailing options depending on the prevailing qualitys. The Mainsail is fully battened and is located in a stack-Pack unit on the boom. All the canvas work is dark green and in good quality. The UV strips on both headsails is green to match.
Stainless steel standing rigging and terylene running rigging. Shroud plates are mounted to the coachroof which allows easy access forward and easy service if they ever needed changing. 
All lines are led aft to the cockpit making this an ideal vessel to sail as a solo yachtsman or sailing with an inexperienced team. Large genoa sheet winches and track within easy reach of helm. Lewmar halyard winch.

The Prout Snowgoose 37 was manufactured in 1981 at the Prout & Sons yard in Canvey Island. The marque has been extremely popular with adventurous yachtsman who wanted to explore the worlds waterways without being constrained by gust and having plenty of luxury to boot. Over 500 of these super boats were manufactured. This is number 160.
Her present custodian had the fortunate experience of crewing one stern to the UK from the carribean when he was younger. This experience made him dream of owning one and disappearing off into the blue yonder. Work/life sometimes gets in the way and the boat is now looking for a fresh proprietor to share adventures with. She is well maintained and in a sailaway quality. Her various proprietors have lavished her with upgrades over the years to enhance her luxury, safety and sailing performance. Each cupboard contains a necessary piece of machinery. She even has her own custom tool kit and a comprehensive set of spares for all occurrences. 
GRP crafted pair bodys with central connecting moulding. GRP deck and superstructure with body to deck join finished in a teak rubrail. Large working foredeck with off-set mainstay windlass and mainstay roller. large seating chain safe with additional safe for warp stowage and gasoline bottle mounting point. Stainless steel head rail deals protection when forward. Good sized side decks allow easy access forward. Inboard shrouds allow unhindered progress. Teak grab rails on the coachroof add extra security. Huge aft deck with stainless steel aft sections joined by removable guardwires. This allows easy deployment of the dinghy and makes boarding easier when swimming. Aft deck is attractively finished in teak slats.
Enclosed and secure cockpit with moulded seating seaport and starboard. Aft cockpit stowage safe lid swings up to make a handy desk. Her helm position is sbeamly to starboard which gives a great view of the sails and rig. To seaport is the entrance to the compartment. Saloon desk can be pre-owned in the cockpit as well which is great when you have a crowd to feed. Port illumination in cockpit allow natural beam into the compartments. 


The main bar is entered from the cockpit by a lockable door. As with a lot of the furniture on board this is made from extremely strong but beam and durable composite which minimises service and unnecessary extra weight. The main bar is bright and airy with settee docks situated the full range of the boat. The forward part of the bar has a removable desk which can be utilised in the cockpit but also acts as the base for a large double dock. This is a very pleasant place to either lounge or sleep and deals excellent beam and visibility from the forward windows. The cushioning is a neutral russet that is both attractive and luxuryable. There are window blackout blinds and a privacy curtain to aid sleep.The flooring is a non-slip vinyl which is easy to keep clean and gives extra security underfoot in a seaway.
In the seaport body is an aft compartment with large single dock, privacy curtain drawer stowage and hanging space. In the head is the large quantity with sea toilet, wash hand tank and shower,. The water is instant hot water delivered from a very efficient Paloma PH5LFE installed fresh in 2016. Plentiful stowage here along with full standing headroom. In the passage between the quantity and the aft compartment is manufactured in units offering stowage and a work space for service and passage planning. In the cupboards here you will find a full set of tools and spares as well as blueprint stowage.
In the starboard body, again you will find an aft compartment that mirrors its seaport neighbour but this time in the head is an other compartment with single dock, drawer stowage and hanging space.
