Walk round video available on request This Dehler 34 has accommodation for 6 people in three cabins and is auxiliary powered by a Yanmar 27hp inboard diesel with conventional shaft drive.

Designed and set up to be easily sailed short handed this Dehler 34 has been mainly sailed single handed by her current owner, and gives an excellent sailing performance. She is in good condition with light use and has been massively upgraded over the last four years.

Her equipment list includes new winches, new clutches, two chart plotters, 2 x cockpit displays, a Raymarine ram autopilot with cockpit display and remote control, furling headsail, new main, asymmetric spinnaker on a Facnor top down furler, Code 0, new jib cars, new mainsheet system, heating, television, computer.

Prior to the current owners purchase, the previous owner also carried out a lot of improvements, one being to remove and clean the diesel tank.

Brokers Comments

Dehler made its name in the mid 1980s with the Dehler 34. This was based on a hugely successful raceboat design that took the top four places among the best teams in the world at the 1984 Three Quarter Ton Cup.

The design was then thoroughly revamped as a well-mannered performance cruiser with a lower centre of gravity keel than was fashionable at the time, top-notch sail handling systems and a quality interior. It was an instant hit, with some 1,200 sold over the decade and helped define the company’s brand and has since become something of a classic.

This Dehler 34 has been very well maintained and benefits from recent improvements.

She was out all winter, went back in March 1st, so has been freshly antifouled, new shaft anode, and usually engine oil and belts change, but not this year as she hasn't been anywhere. She comes out almost every winter, or if not, she comes out for a month in spring.
