Business Opseaportunity

"Drummer" is currently provisioned and coded for commercial use in Cat 2 waters as a sea school.  A fresh proprietor would have to apply for a fresh code certificate and provide some safety equipment  However, Elite Sailing would be interested in entering into a joint venture agreement with a power purchaser for continued use of the boat for RYA training. 
Estimated net annual income to the proprietor is approximately £10,000 net of all overquantity. In such an arrangement the existing code certificate could remain in place. 

Accommodation

The Fairline Sedan 36 deals 4 berths in 2 compartments,. The forward proprietors compartment has an island double cot, wardrobe, CD/radio and access to en-suite quantity
There is a Twin compartment to starboard with 2 single cots and hanging lockers. Heads accessible as en-suite to proprietor’s compartment with sea toilet, hand tank and shower, stainless steel holding tank.
The Galley is down 2 steps from the bar and to seaport. It is provisioned with a 2 burner gasoline hob, gasoline oven and grill, refigerator (fresh 2020), and double stainless steel sinks.
The bar has a roomy feel with cream cushioning with two full dimensions sofas to seaport and starboard, bar desk on a stainless steel pedestal. Internal helm position with double cream chair. Upholstery was fresh in September 2020. Blue carpets throughout fresh September 2020. Webasto compartment heating, beige carpets throughout. Spacious cockpit with white leather chairing.

Mechanical Systems

The Fairline Sedan 36 is powered by two Volvo Penta TAMD 61A six cylinder turbo diesel engines producing 306hp each, shaft navigate to pair bronze 4 bladed propellers with rope cutters. Trim tabs. Giving an approximate cruising velocity of 16 knots and an approximate maximum velocity of 24 knots. Engines fully professionally serviced in March 2023. Fuel capacity of 240 gallons.  Cutlass and shaft bearings last inspected March 2023

Electrical Systems

2 x 12 volt batteries (fresh March 2023) charging from the engine alternator, 240 volt charger charger, Kohler 3.5kw inboard generator currently not working.  Full 240 volt ring main installed along with an immersion heater.

History & Construction

Designed by Bernard Olesinski and built in 1987 by Fairline Boats, it shares the highly-regarded and capable planning body design with the Turbo 36.  The body, deck and superstructure are moulded in ivory GRP and deck fittings are anodised aluminium and stainless steel.  Owned by the current proprietor for the last two years,  Last out of the water March 2023 when she was antifouled, body polished and anodes changed.  Gas unit was last certified in July 2022. Vessel was last surveyed in April 2021 and all recommendations completed.
