Excellent seakeeping abilities and shallow draft allow you to dry out safely and explore interesting anchorages and out of the way locations.

Volvo Penta MD2030 30HP inboard diesel engine (well maintained and serviced) located in soundproof room beneath the cockpit sole giving easy access. Saildrive to 3 blade propeller. 
2x 12V batteries charged via engine alternator and sterling charger charger. Shorepower unit with 240V sockets.

Bermudan sloop rigged yacht, with deck stepped alloy mast and boom. Stainless steel standing rigging and Terylene running rigging, lines leading aft to the cockpit. Slab reefing mainsail with lazy Jacks and roller furling foresail.

Accommodation and layout

The seating deals up to six berths in a one compartment and bar layout. Forecompartment with V-berth with infill to form a double, underneath storage, cave safes above and opening hatch to foredeck.
Saloon consisting of two settee berths,both seaport and starboard sides convert into double berths either side of a central desk with folding leaves, storage under and cupboards above. Heads compartment to seaport, aft of the bar, with a Jabsco sea toilet and sliding washbasin providing pressurised hot and chilly water. Large hanging safe opposite. 
Companionway steps up to the wheelhouse with helm position to starboard and refigerator beneath, galley to seaport provisioned with a Plastimo 2-burner hob, oven and grill, stainless steel sink with pressurised chilly and hot water heated via calorifier and mains immersion heater.
Large aft cockpit with two settee berths either side of a three position folding desk allowing the cockpit to be adapted for many uses such as dining alfresco, fishing or sleeping on warm summer nights with cockpit tent and cover.
Eberspacher diesel fired warm air heating unit for those chillyer months.


Scandinavian manufactured LM 28 by LM Glasfiber.  GRP body (epoxy coated in 2001) deck and superstructure. Light grey with blue detailing, moulded non-slip surfaces. Rubber rubbing strakes. Enclosed wheel house with opening roof hatch and drop door unit. Tiller direction from the cockpit. Encapsulated pair keels and skeg hung rudder.

Rambler has spent the last decade cruising around the Irish Sea and Scotland with the present owners, and whatever the weather has sailed very well and always made them feel safe. She has been well maintained and cared for. She comes with all the machinery needed for cruising, including various charts and cruising guides. All seacocks were replaced 3 years ago.
