'New Dawn' is a Moody 35 centre cockpit built by Marine Projects in March 1992. She has a GRP hull, deck & superstructure, fin keel, wheel steering, Perkins 35HP diesel shaft driven inboard engine which was rebuilt Jan 2013. She has 7 berths in 2 cabins including the saloon. Separate w.c. compartment with sea w.c. washbasin & shower. Galley with a twin burner gas cooker with oven & grill (serviced February 2023), fridge, ice box, cabin heating and hot water. Kemp mainsail with in mast furling, genoa/foresail, full navigation (see Inventory for full list) inc. compass, echo sounder, speed, wind, radar, GPS, VHF, plotter, Autopilot, AIS. Other items such as a gas detector, warps & fenders, spray hood, new C & J cockpit enclosed cockpit cover with zips 2023, boom tent, clock & barometer, electric anchor windlass, shore power are included. She has been dearly loved and well looked after by her current owner who has owned her since 2005. Owner's Remarks 'I have owned "New Dawn" since 2005 and have loved her. She has taken my crew and myself many times across the Channel, to North Biscay and countless voyages around the South Coast and UK in comfort and safety. A lightly used popular cruising yacht, l made many improvements to her, e.g. additional berthing accommodation, installation of the latest Raymarine Axiom 3 Navigation & AIS equipment with NEMA interconnection to self-steering gear and radar, driven by Brunton 3 blade feathering propeller given easy, low rev, fast cruising which compliment with her balanced rig (and additions as specified) to make her the ideal cruising yacht.
