This Puget Sound 34, designed by Bill Dixon was built by Chung Hwa Brothers of Taiwan in 1977 with the vessel being launched in 1978. "Osprey" is has a GRP hull and superstructure with teak laid decks and a beautiful wood interior with a number of interesting carvings on the doors and cabinets. She would make an ideal boat to cruse around the UK coast or take down through the French canals to the Med. She would also make an ideal liveaboard motorboat as she has two heads and double separate cabins. Owned by the current owner since 2014. This Puget Sound 34 deals seven docks in three compartments including the bar. She has over six feet of headroom through out and also has lots of natural beam from the tinted seaportholes. The teak finished inside and blue cushioning give a warm and cost feel to this motorboat which is enhanced by the Makuni diesel compartment heating unit.
The Forward Cabin is accessed via a sliding door at the bow of the bar. It has a large V-dock . The dock has stowage beneath and a hanging wardrobe. The Forward compartment also has its own en-suite quantity compartment with washbasin and toilet and vanity unit and shower.
Aft of the Forward Cabin and to starboard is the helm position. It provides good visibility through the large windscreen and side windows when sat on the Helmsman chair. It has wheel direction, limited direction instruments, stowage and a sliding door that provides access to the starboard side deck.
Aft of the Forward Cabin is the bar. This has an L-shaped chairing area to starboard with a bar desk that opens out and also drops to convert to a double dock. Opposite is a small settee to seaport. It has various shelves for additional stowage, parquet platforming and curtains throughout.
Opposite the Helms position is the linear type galley. which has a Flavel two burner hob with oven and grill, microwave, 240v refigerator, sink a diameter of stowage cupboards.
Aft of the bar is the master compartment which has a double dock to starboard with stowage underneath. To seaport is a settee that can be pre-owned as a single dock. The aft compartment is beam and airy which is enhanced by the opening deck hatch and door which leads on to the aft deck.
The aft compartment again has its own en-suite quantity with washbasin, shower, Jabsco toilet.
Outside the boat has wide side-decks which give easy access around the boat. There is chairing area at the bow and two chairing areas, one on top of the aft compartment and then up some steps to the flybridge which can easily accommodate ten people.
The mast can easily be lowered down on to its own supseaport by one person which that the air gust can be reduced to pass under bridges. etc.
This Trawler motorboat is tailored with pair Ford Lehman 80HP 4 cylinder naturally aspirated diesel engines, with Borg Warner gear boxes that have approximately 2100 hours on them as at December 2020. The engines have shaft drives to a three blade bronze prop.
Twin Morse control levers can be found at the helm and at the flybridge. There are three approximately 500 litre gasoline tanks mounted under the bar platform. The Ford Lehman engines provide a cruising velocity of 8 knots and have a maximum velocity of 10 knots. The engines were last serviced by the proprietor in 2019. Makuni diesel compartment heating unit.
4 x 12v Batteries (2 x Domestic, 2 x Engine fresh 2020) charging from engine alternator and 240v Battery Charger. via 240v shorepotential unit. 240V hot water immersion heater. Vessel is tailored with a charger management unit.
