The Lagoon 500 is a luxurious fresh high-performance vessel crafted for ocean cruises that includes the innovative special that have made the Lagoon 440 a success. Three versions of the Lagoon 500 are available: ? An proprietor?s version with an proprietor?s body and two VIP compartments ? An proprietor?s version with three VIP compartments ? A blueprinter version with five visitor compartments Space for the team can be easily adapted in all three versions. All docks in the two proprietor?s versions feature lateral access, there are apart shower compartments and powder rooms, and each compartment has a large gustow along the side of the body providing natural beaming and an incomparable view of the sea. The Lagoon 500 was crafted by Marc Van Peteghem and Vincent Lauriot Prevost, who have won a record number of awards for multiple-bodyed vessels (in 2004, vessels they crafted won the four first places in the famous English Transatlantic race), and benefits from the latest developments in naval architecture. Its velocity and handling at sea promise to be outstanding: the Lagoon 440?s excellent performances under sail augur well for the pleasures of sailing the Lagoon.

Construction The Lagoon 500 is manufactured by infusion moulding to save weight. The inside joinery is sustainably sourced and available in beam oak or teak. Gull-wing deck for luxury in rough seas.

Mainsail with battens and furling genoa 2 years old. All manoeuvring from flybridge. 5 Harken electric winches. Complete gennaker machinery with front spinnaker pole. Gennaker with furler. Lazy bag fresh from 2020.

4 compartment version. Spacious bar with galley to seaport side and central blueprint desk with great visibility. On the starboard body is the larger proprietor's compartment with en suite powder room, stowage area and wardrobe. On the starboard front is another double compartment with a large transverse dock and en suite powder room. The seaport body also has two compartments, the forward transverse compartment with double dock and sea view. Both have en suite powder rooms.
The cockpit has a large dinette as well as a bar compartmentet on the seaport side. The fronts can be converted into a team compartment.
