So today I'm presenting this 2018 Lagoon 420 owner's version. To be honest this video is not for promotion it's just more to to show prospective buyers the the outlay of the boat. This is because this is a very rare commodity and very sought after, especially as it's the three three cabin owner version and it's got everything on it. It's got a generator, a water maker, air conditioning, heating.
This boat was built for one purpose, to do a transatlantic crossing which it did and now I'm not quite sure if they did it in 2019 or they just did it. The catamaran has been used privately and never chartered. It goes as a 2019 model year and thus has walnut Alpi interior. Package
The owner examined thoroughly the experience of the other Lagoon-42 owners and following their advice has chosen the package and add-ons.
Layout is a standard 3-cabins with 3 bathrooms, teak floor in the cockpit and hard composite bimini above the navigation post with a sliding top and all-round canvas. There's a sunbath in the cockpit which is used as bicycle storage. Electricity
The catamaran was prepared for the Atlantic crossing and therefore features a 5 KVA Fischer-Panda diesel generator (instead of a standard which allowed to put an additional 300 L water tank), 4 x 330 W solar panels and a 600W hydro generator Watt&Sea. Apart from this it has an extended pack of 4 gel 140 Ah marine batteries and a 3 kW inverter. It supplies the sockets in the cabins and 3 kg compact washing machine. All the cabins also have USB-sockets to charge the gadgets. Water
Originally the catamaran was equipped with Sea Recovery water maker which needed a lot of maintenance and later substituted with a much more reliable 63-lh low consumption Spectra water maker.
As said before the water tank is double, 600 litres. The galley sink is equipped with a sea-water electric pump and a drinking water pump with a separate tab. A standard 18-litre water bottle stays under the sink.
All three toilets feature quiet-flush Jabsco WCs. Sails
