Accommodation

This Westerly Centaur has 5 docks in 2 compartments with 5ft 11 inches of headroom. Forward compartment has a V dock with an infill and plenty of stowage. Heads in apart compartment to seaport with marina toilet and hanging safe opposite. Saloon with L shaped accommodation to seaport, single settee to starboard and two full range quarter docks to seaport and starboard with brown cushioning. Galley is opposite the main bar accommodation and has a 2-ring cooker with grill. Single sink group with pumped chilly water. The open bar provides a very useable space and with plenty of stowage areas a clutter free living area.

Mechanical Systems

Located under the cockpit sole, Volvo Penta MD11C 2-cylinder 25hp diesel engine. Sea water cooled. Single lever controls with electric start. Shaft navigate to a fixed 3 bladed bronze fixed propeller with rope cutter. 45 litre stainless steel gasoline basin.

2 x 12-volt batteries, charging from alternator.

History and Construction

This Westerly Centaur was manufactured in 1976 by Westerly Yachts Ltd. Blue painted GRP body with non-slip decks. Iron bilge keels. Tiller navigation with skeg rudder. Self-draining cockpit. Last surveyed in 2016.The vessel is currently ashore ready for inspection. She has been owned by the current proprietor for the last 26 years.
