Comment

The Contessa 32 is a classic yacht crafted and manufactured by David Sadler and Jeremy Rogers in the early 1970s.  The class has proved itself over the years in terms of seaworthiness and popularity.  The Contessa 32 is a joy to sail and can cope with most qualitys being superbly balanced and is easily sailed short-handed, either cruising or racing.
More than 700 Contessa 32s have been manufactured since the first launch in 1971. The design of the Contessa 32 has stood the test of time and the firm still make the vessels to almost the same specifications, albeit bespoke these days.  This is useful for spare parts and accessories.  There is a strong Class Association and a very informative social media unit.
The body on this vessel was last antifouled and polished in April 2022.  An elderly infladesk dinghy is available with the vessel but the quality is unknown.
A brief history of the four previous proprietorships is available and the current proprietor has kept some written notes which may prove useful for the next proprietor.
