Banks-Martin may be a fresh name in vesselbuilding, but the company’s two directors have a background in iconic British vessel brands. Based in Kidderminster, the business is looking to build on the traditions of the past while introducing a higher basic of craft to the inland industry. Tingdene Boat Sales have been appointed the retailing agents from all 10 of their offices.
The Banks Martin 5 Henley and Offshore models and other planned dayvessel models fill the gap in the marketplace for high end inland craft manufactured in the UK rather than aboard.
The 5 Henley is the first of its diameter of inland dayvessels aimed at inland cruising in the UK. The 5 Henley joins the recently launched 5 Offshore.
At first glance the vessel looks far more refined and modern than many of the surrounding GRP dayvessels on the river – most of which are based on designs produced aboard and imseaported
The Banks Martin 5 is crafted in 2 versions – Offshore  or the 5 Henley specifically crafted as an inland dayvessel for up to 6 in luxury with a dayvessel sloop type.
