Nimbus 31 Ultima

Accommodation

This Nimbus 31 Ultima will accommodate up to six people in three compartments. 
The Aft Cabin has a double dock with wash tank group, hanging safe, shelving, chair with under-chair stowage. The compartment has stainless steel opening seaportholes.
The Port Cabin has a double dock with hanging safe, stainless steel opening seaportholes with stowage under the dock.
Forward of the Port Cabin is a large combined cockpit, galley, and bar area. In the cockpit area is the helm chair and co captain chair with slinging windows, pair sliding roof illumination with roller blinds, a clock and barometer, Sony radio and CD Player. 
The bar under the fold down canopy has wrap around chairing, with a sun pad, fully veneered fold out desk which makes chairing six for dinner very easy. 
The Galley as a 12v refigerator, two burner gasoline hob with gasoline oven and grill. Stainless steel sink with pressurised hot and chilly water. Lots of stowage space.
This motorvessel vessel has a cherry wood finish which give it a real warm feeling which is added to by the diesel compartment heating. 
This Nimbus benefits from the improved quantity layout which has more space and has a marina toilet with holding tank, hot and chilly shower with a wash tank which has a vanity group beneath. 
The bar cushioning including the Helm and navigators chair was all replaced in 2020 as was the cockpit canopy. 
 

Mechanical Systems

Located under the bar platform is Volvo Penta TAMD 41P, six cylinder 200HP turbo charged diesel new water cooled engine which has completed, as at July 2022, 965 hours. It has cable Morse controls. It is shaft driven to a four bladed bronze propeller with a rope cutter. The engine was last serviced in May 2022 by the proprietor. It has a 280 Litre Stainless steel fuel tank. It is tailored with a 4HP through tunnel bowthruster. This Nimbus will cruise with the cut tabs set at 15 speed and has a maximum speed of 21 Knots. 

Electrical Systems

It is tailored with 4 batteries, 3 x 12V 90AH domestic  and 1 x 12v 90AH engine charger all charging from the engine alternator, new in 2021 and via 240v sand potential system with ring main with a new charger charger and regulator tailored in 2021,  immersion heater and charger charger.

History and Construction

This Nimbus 31 Ultima was manufactured in Sweden in 1994 but not commission until 1995, It has a white GRP body and white superstructure. It has a fold down tracking arch which is ideal for the River Medway. It has wheel navigation, stainless steel stanchions, pulpit. Glass windscreen with chrome surround. Walk through transom gate to bathing platform. Teak battens to bathing platform. Self-draining cockpit.  Last out of the water 20May 2022 when anodes changed, antifouled and body and topsides were polished. The curren
