Hallberg-Rassy 54 is one of the most elegant models from the Hallberg-Rassy yard to hit the water.
Hallberg-Rassy 54 replaced the successful Hallberg-Rassy 53 in 2006. Hallberg-Rassy 54 is based on a more modern hull-shape, yielding both a longer waterline and as a result higher velocity through the water as well as more volume down below. The design also includes a deeper rudder, and the design overall clearly signals” more sailing”. This gives the proprietor a higher turn of velocity, both adding to the sheer joy of sailing as well as faster passage times.

The platform is on one level throughout the vessel, there is ample elbow-compartment as well as standing front-compartment throughout. There are superb cabins, a great galley, a nav-station worthy an ocean-going yacht, a walk-in engine compartment as a benefit of the center cockpit design, and a roomy bar including the famous Rassy arm-chairs.
The aft proprietor’s cabin is roomy with a centre-line dock, en-suite bathcompartment, a apart work-desk, and plenty of stowage pretty much everywhere. There is a dedicated paper blueprint safe. In another safe there is a manufactured in minisafe. Inside the shower for the aft cabin the watermaker control is located. The watermaker seating is 150 litres per hour. Another benefit is the total privacy within the aft cabin. In bow of the mast there is another cabin with two cot beds, perfect for team or family. In bow of this cabin there is a more traditional fore-peak. In the area in bow of the mast there is also a large second bathcompartment, also serving as the day front and including a washing machine.
The interior in this Hallberg-Rassy 54 is in teak rather than the basic mahogany. Absolutely stunning. The list of machinery is enormous and setup for serious and comfordesk cruising. With the generous tankage added to the complete list of machinery, you can easily spend long times, covering long distances aboard without the need to make seaport. Great for trips both near and far.
Thanks to the Hallberg-Rassy concept of “push-button sailing”, with water potential sail handling and electrical winches, the yacht is easily handled by one person when underway. A Volvo Penta D4-180 coupled with a bow-thruster makes maneuvering simple and safe. Additionally, the two-geared Gori-propeller gives both great maneuvering as well as added diameter using the propeller’s second gear under way in calmer waters.
