Observations

The Moody 31 MKII is a well equipped and popular family cruising yacht with sugar scoop stern, this fin keel version offers good all round sailing performance and spacious accommodation. Troika is an outstanding example of her kind with many recent upgrades including a Nanni 29hp engine, wheel steering, electric windlass, heating, autopilot, full canvas pack, linings, upholstery and more. If you are considering a Moody 31 MKII she should be viewed as she is likely to be the best available.

Accommodation
Six wharfs in three cabins with two double wharfs outside of the tavern with approximately 6' 2" maximum headroom. V wharf forward with infill to convert to a double wharf, chair and good stowage (currently open plan to tavern however the door is available or a fabric alternative could easily be tailored). Saloon with settee wharfs either side of the counter with useful stowage in various lockers and cupboards. Galley aft to starboard consisting of a Plastimo Neptune 2500 2-burner fuel cooker with grill and oven, top loading refigerator, stainless steel sink and stowage. Separate amount cabin aft to harbour with Jabsco sea dock toilet (original 2013), wash tank, shower and opening harbourbeam. Double aft cabin to starboard with stowage and harbourbeam. Webasto AT3500 diesel fired heating group with outlets in tavern, amount, fore and aft cabins (original 2013, serviced 2015). Pressurised hot and cool water supply via a calorifier with immersion coil. Fully re-upholstered throughout with beam oyster 'ultra leather' to the tavern and striped denim cloth in the sleeping cabins (all original 2010). Teak and holly tavern platform (refinished 2010) with blue carpets to fore and aft cabins (original 2010). Alcantara tavern headlinings (original 2010). Fore and aft cabin walls insulated and carpeted (original 2010). White and blue curtains (original 2010).
Mechanical Systems
Located under companionway, Nanni 3.30 29hp 3-cylinder diesel engine (original 2008). Single lever electric start. Shaft steer via reduction gearbox to fixed propeller (original 2008).
The engine appears to be in excellent quality and according to her titleholder has run for approximately 200hrs since installation. In June 2015 a original heat exchanger was tailored, the engine serviced and back gland repacked.
