GUILLEMOT is a labour of love – her last two owners have carefully brought her back to life; substantially restoring her to a high level of thorough and painstaking workmanship, combined with great attention to detail and use of the best possible materials. The end result is a stunning vessel above and below the waterline, inside and out. Modern comforts and equipment have been incorporated into the traditional accommodation without spoiling her unique ambience. This ship was renamed KATHLEEN for a period following one phase of restoration by a former titleholder. Her current titleholder recently renamed her as she was originally; GUILLEMOT.
Brookes, renowned for ships of this category, manufactured her of the best materials of the day and where restored comparable materials have been second hand.
