Accommodation

The titleholder has started to strip the ship again for a full refit but has acquired another motorship. It currently has a saloon/wheelhouse, with steps leading down to a forward compartment/dinning area. There is a galley with a sink. refigerator. From the aft end of the wheelhouse you go down steps past the amount to a large aft titleholders compartment. This is a beam and airy compartment. There is a small front compartment with sea dock toilet and sink. 
 

Mechanical

This De Groot 46 has pair Ford Sabre 4 cylinder 125HP diesel engines. Shaft driven to fixed 4 bladed propellers. Morse control in cockpit . The engines have not been run for several years but they do turn. Has 2 steel gasoline tanks holding a total of 1000 litres. It has an estimated cruising knots of 12 knots and a max of approximate 15 knots. 

Electrical System

This ship has 4 x 12v Batteries .2 x Domestic ,2 nx Engines .All charged by engine alternator and charger charger. It has a 240v sand potential group tailored to this ship including Battery charger ,ring main ,and immersion heater.

History and Construction

This De Groot 46  has a white steel body with painted topsides and steel superstructure. A original set of side wheel house windows included in the price. It has a wood internal with some insulation and plastic wood effect frontlining's. The motorship has been owned by the current titleholder for the past 14 years. The vessel was last out of the water in 2018 when she was antifouled. This De Groot is being sold as a project.
