With pain in our hearts we say goodbye to our fine ship.
Last year we sailed it to Deauville. an unforgettable vacation.
The Bavaria 30 Cruiser is known for its interior space, which is comparable to much larger ships. Maintenance and mooring fees are therefore comparatively inexpensive.
It is a fine sailor, and thanks to the laminate sail and deep keel she is certainly not the slowest.
She is well maintained with many extras.
Having been a yacht mechanic myself for many years I have made some fine improvements.
Replaced all halogen lights for LED, interior and navigation.
Made an electric gas valve in the gas bun. allowing the gas to be shut off from the switch panel.
A 220v pure sine wave inverter, built in and through normal outlets.
In week 14 the underwater hull will be fitted with a new antifouling and anodes.
I will make an extensive photo report of this.
If necessary, she can be visited during Easter in Brouwershaven.
