Fairline Squadron 58

The NU is an absolute unique 2008 Fairline Squadron 58. She is just coming from her 2023 antifouling, polishing and teak make-up treatment. She has been pure luxury since her redesign and refit worth around €200,000*. Since this comprehensive refit in 2020 under the aegis of the Icelandic interior designer Magnea Haralds, she has distinguished herself from all others on the market: The interior design thrives on a professional color concept and is more reminiscent of the interior of ultra-modern superyachts than of classic motor yachts. The surfaces in the dinette, saloon, galley, cabins including toilets and washrooms shine in an extremely high-quality bronze/gold tone in combination with matt anthracite. This look is paired with the Black and White theme: the seats were all covered with white artificial leather (easy-care); This white contrasts with the matt anthracite of the dining table and living room table as well as the floors, which are also anthracite. In keeping with this, the vertical awnings of all portholes were replaced by anthracite-colored ones. Those who love traditional, highly polished mahogany surfaces are in the wrong place here, but if your heart beats for lavish modern extravagance, then you are spot on with the NU. The double deck layout offers full standing headroom throughout. The lower helm, has instrument panel veneered in anthracite. The electrically adjustable pilot & co-pilot seats are located starboard forward of the fully equipped galley. Just to starboard of the helm is an aircraft style side exit door. This ample sized vessel boasts three staterooms, two with twins and one double. The Master occupies the entire forward section of the boat and features a queen size bed and head and shower facilities en-suite.  The Aft cockpit has a large alfresco seating group that is shaded by the flybridge overhang. The transom leads to the vast bathing platform via the port or starboard side gates. The Black & White theme is also continued on the Fly Bridge in the sense of a consistently implemented color concept: the upholstery of the 3 front seats at the helm station and the upholstery of the bench seat around the large table have been reupholstered in white, with both biminis the blue one cloth replaced with a black one. And outside, the topic does not end with the now black fenders with white NU lettering on them. The large oval flybridge with asymmetrical design makes it a wonderful surrounding for socializing. As you curve around the front of the helm, positioned in the center, you will notice the large, upholstered semicircular sunbed. Behind the helm is a large settee with seats upholstered in white. There is a bar, with sink, ice maker, refrigerator and electric griddle and twin bimini tops refitted in black which contrasts perfectly with the white of the seats. Not only design freaks get their money's worth with this super yacht in miniature, but also music lovers who like to let it rip on the high seas. The previous owner of the yacht J. Lanz, ex-band member of ABBA, has turned the yacht into half a concert hall in terms of sound technology, mind you not only the saloon, but also the owner's cabin, aft deck and above all the flybridge. This Fairline Squadron 58 is fully equipped for cruising, comfort and relaxation in an atmosphere of the most modern exclusivity As with all Fairline models, hand-laid GRP hull is a modified deep-V designed by Bernard Olesinski with a sharp entry that moderates to 18 degrees of deadrise and continues past the transom to 'build in' the swim platform. Combined with multiple full-length lift straps, this shape can cut through the water high and dry and with minimal jerking at speeds in excess of 30 mph.
