Cumbria is one of the forty-seven counties of England and one of the most Celtic of the whole country. It is located in the north west region and its capital is Carlisle. Scafell Pike, the highest point in the whole of England, is located in this county, with a height of 978 metres above sea level.

One of the main tourist attractions of the region is without a doubt the Lake District National Park, considered one of the most beautiful areas in Great Britain. This is a rural area, famous for its legendary landscapes in which the lakes, mountains and valleys merge with one another, and which was declared a World Heritage Site in 2017. The Windermere and Ullswater lakes offer many opportunities to practice nautical and aquatic sports.
